THE DOMORE FOUNDATION | DOCUMENTARY STORYTELLING

I had the privilege of working on this documentary fundraising video for the DoMore Foundation while working at Storyground. Repro and I travelled to Hammarsdale, a township in Mpumalanga, South Africa, where we met inspiring entrepreneurs making a real impact in their communities by creating financial and growth opportunities for themselves and their broader community 🎥 . 

SAKH'INDODA | THE BEGINNING

Our brief was to develop a logo and a one-pager identity system for the very beginning of Sakh'Indoda - a non-profit organisation leading from within the Hout Bay community in South Africa. Sakh’Indoda is a men’s community initiative that helps local Hout Bay men take control of their lives and become leaders and role models in their communities. They believe men must work together to help other men, and that working together is essential to eliminate toxic masculinity, create safe communities, and nurture economic inclusion. Their approach is grounded in dialogue, community, respect for diversity, and taking responsibility for oneself.

Our concept was inspired by theses concepts - togetherness, support, community, connection and action ✏️.

AS MONOGRAM | BRINGING BRANDS TO LIFE

We created a monogram logo and emblem designed for the iconic African jewellery brand - AmericanSwiss. The use case for product extensions such as fragrances, wallets and pendants. The logo-type icon was crafted with typography as an extension of the main brand logo.

 

Ps: Adding simple motion is an excellent way to bring products to life ✏️.

SDG 3 GOOD HEALTH & WELL-BEING | STORYBOARD DESIGN

I loved working in this style while developing the storyboard for the SDG 3 video. This animation was part of a video series produced by Blindspot Films for the University of Pretoria.

 

The goal was to communicate the Sustainable Development Goals in a concise and visually engaging way 🎥 . 

ACE EXPLAINER | Storyboard Design

An educational and informative storyboard design for an explainer video was created for ICLEI during my time at Storyground. The narrative focuses on why adopting a circular economy is vital for achieving sustainability in cities.
